Huge schoolies are a great camping option

This was the first schoolie to camp out at RVR.  Unfortunately, she cut the corner too tight and the right rear wheels went off the driveway into the mud and got stuck.  There are only a couple times during the year where enough rain is received to make the ground muddy.  The volcanic dust turns into a very slippery mud called gumbo.  There are even tires made specific for gumbo.

Robynne had to bring in a tow truck to get her unstuck. As more rain was expected, she had to cut her visit short to avoid more problems.
